
The original Nantwich Grammar School, located in Churchyardside, Nantwich. This building was closed around 1858 and a new school was opened at 108 Welsh Row in 1860.

60 pupils were registered in 1875, including seven boarders and seven free places. This was amalgamated with the better endowed school at Acton in 1886, becoming the Nantwich & Acton Grammar School (NAGS).
