£3.00

Cynthia Zur Nedden (née Weaver), debutante, socialite, land owner and philanthropist, lived her entire life at Stapeley Grange in the hamlet of Stapeley about two miles from the centre of Nantwich. When she died in 1990 a substantial part of her estate, including the Grange, was bequeathed to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) in order for them: “to establish an animals home and refuge with a clinic if they so desire ”.
