Nantwich Pubs

Nantwich Pubs provides a detailed look at the public houses in the town of Nantwich and give a street by street description, and history, of each licensed premises. The book is well illustrated, with pictures of the buildings themselves, and also the signs associated with many of them.  Many pubs are now no longer in existence. Some have been demolished, or turned into private houses, or converted into restaurants and shops. Many have a unique story to tell, like selling beer containing arsenic to a child, and several are associated with ghosts!
