Reception KS1 Toys
Meet our Edwardian teddy bear and his friends. Explore the differences between old and new toys. Learn how to handle fragile objects and enjoy fun activities around the museum.
KS1-2 The Great Fire of Nantwich / London
Uncover clues about the fire of Nantwich and take a tour of the town. Handle artefacts, take part in activities and role play. Discover the events of 1583 and find out how people used to put out the fires. Compare and contrast the two fires.
KS2 ‘A Story of a River’ and the Riverside Trail
Walk along a unique river system. Explore geography, geology, local history and science, as we investigate our environment through experiments and salt making.
KS2 – Geology Trail *New*
Explore Nantwich geology. Handle specimens, observe patterns and take part in a special trail.
KS2-3 The Tudors
Become Tudor detectives discovering facts about Tudor houses, daily life, changes in society and the economy. Includes a tour & activities including: printmaking, Tudor writing and making medicine.
KS2-3 The Battle of Nantwich Find out about the role Nantwich played in the English Civil War. Examine real battle artefacts, handle replicas, try on costumes and learn about life in the 17th Century. Design your own battlefield banner or shield.

Contains a wonderful box of curios for students to explore and have fun creating their own stories and observations.
KS2 Romans in Nantwich
Learn about Roman life in Nantwich when the town had a military run saltworks and industrial site serving the empire.
