William Lee and his Report to the General Board of Health

£3.95

In 1850 William Lee C.E., a Superintending Inspector, prepared a report to the general board of health on a preliminary inquiry into the sewerage, drainage, and supply of water, and sanitary condition of the inhabitants, of the township of Nantwich. It is a fascinating insight into conditions in Nantwich, at a time when cholera was spreading through the town.
