Nantwich Camera Club’s 2019 Photographic Exhibition

The 2019 Nantwich Camera Club Photographic Exhibition, featuring recent work from members of the popular and successful club, has opened at Nantwich Museum to run until Saturday 4 January 2020. The annual event, which is always well received, is attracting visitors from throughout the region. It includes stunning print and projected images of a wide range of truly inspiring subjects. Many of the prints will be available for sale whilst visitors will be invited to nominate their favourite photograph.

The Camera Club was formed in 1981 to promote the hobby of photography and provide an opportunity for members to develop their skills in a social environment. It is affiliated to The Lancashire and Cheshire Photographic Union and The Photographic Alliance of Great Britain and its work regularly features in area and national competitions. A wide range of club activities includes lectures, demonstrations, practical events and competitions.

The first club exhibition was held at Nantwich Library in 1983, and the first exhibition at the Museum was in 2002 and celebrated the club’s 21st Anniversary. Entry to the museum and exhibition is free.
