Learn more about dementia by attending one of three Dementia Friends sessions being organised at Nantwich Museum. Dementia Friends is an initiative of the Alzheimers Society aiming to help raise awareness of dementia and encourage dementia friendly communities. Museum Manager, Kate Dobson and Administration Assistant, Vicky Edwards have trained as Dementia Friend Champions and will lead the sessions.

The sessions are scheduled to take place in the museum at 10.30 am on the following Mondays 1st, 8th and 15th December. Please contact either Kate or Vicky at the museum to book a place. Sessions will last between 45 minutes and an hour. Note that the Dementia Friends are not being asked to contact or visit people living with dementia who they do not know.

A  Dementia Friendship Group already meets at the museum on the first Monday of every month and is open to anyone living with dementia, their carer, family and friends.
