To complement the summer exhibition detailing the history of Welsh Row, Nantwich Museum will be hosting a talk at 2.00 pm on Saturday 11th August 2018 to shed further light on the development of this important district of the town.
The talk entitled Aspects of Welsh Row is in three parts, each presented by a member of the Museum’s Research Group, and designed to offer a unique and detailed insight to accompany and enhance the main exhibition.
Helen Cooke will present Townsend House and Walled Garden, Keith Lawrence will talk on Cholera in Welsh Row” and Bill Pearson will talk about Pubs on the Row.
Cost of entry is £5.00 (£4.00 for Museum Members). Booking is recommended and tickets can be purchased from the museum. Entry to the Welsh Row exhibition, and the museum, is free.
Visitors can also join guided tours of Welsh Row on Saturday 11th August 2018 to learn more about the development of this important district of the town.
The tour provides expert guidance on the fascinating history and development of the Row with a personal touch. Historical guides can also be purchased from the museum for those wishing to make their own excursions.
